    Kota Kinabalu-Kuala Lumpur-London

*NOTE : THERE'S STILL MORE EXPERIENCES TO WRITE HERE AND PICTURES TO UPLOAD . WILL DO IT SOON BECAUSE MY WIFI SUCKS ! ;)*

    Kota Kinabalu / Kuala Lumpur

Everything was practically ready to go. Went to airport and all that (the usual) and flew to Kuala Lumpur first to stay there for a night at Concorde Inn which was actually close to the airport.
While there, we got ready for everything we needed for as soon as we reached London because it was going to be freakin cold. Was pretty excited that catching sleep was a bit hard. Survived on tuna cheese rolls brought from KK in the room because we weren't going outta there once we entered. That is, until the very next day.
Woke up pretty early in the morning and got out breakfast and wore the Isabel Marant's my mom bought for her & I to wear when we get to London. Believe me that didn't last for even a day in London because we bought boots there anyways. Took a shuttle to the airport and well we went up Emirates airlines which transitted to Dubai and then to London. It'd be my first time going somewhere that will take a lot of time in the airplane.
We went up the Boeing 777 to Dubai which took around 7 hours I guess? Didn't feel like dying of boredom or whatsoever during the flight because they actually have pretty good movies and entertainment. Also did I like to go to the lavatory because it was actually pretty fun. I do that in all flights to anywhere. The Emirates stewardesses seriously look like Barbie dolls or whatever doll as long as they look like err a doll. REALLY PRETTY.

One of the stewardesses actually took a picture of us with a polaroid

When we reached Dubai, we were a bit delayed so we rushed to transit section I guess and then went up the Airbus A380 which was headed to London Heathrow. Dubai's airport was really freakin huge. The flight took around 7 hours also which made the whole journey about 14 hours.

    London

We reached London Heathrow at around 7 at night. Didn't feel the coldness when we were in the airport (duhhh) but when we went out, yeah it was really pretty cold. The temperature in London was about 2-4 degrees celcius since winter was around the corner. Went to our hotel apartment , Palace Court Holiday Homes.
The place was located around Bayswater road and Notting Hill Gate. I really do like the location of it because it was also located right around Hyde Park. From the place we stayed, Hyde Park was right in front. Sad thing is, we didn't have the time to go around Hyde Park.
Inside our room , it was really cozy. Had a kitchen and all the other stuff you'd find in a basic apartment. Also of course, it had a heater which actually served more than one purpose to us during our stay. We slept that night although we were obviously suffering from jetlag. Didn't even sleep in the plane cause we were watching movies.
When we woke up in the morning, we went to see the souvenir shops located quite near our place. We walked there and it was fun because it was cold. Bought my first thing there which was Paula's mom's souvenir which was a fridge magnet. There were a lot of souvenirs shop there. Bought an oyster card there which gave us access to the buses around London.

    The scream

    So called OOTD .

Walked to the bus station in Bayswater road and took bus 94 to Oxford street. We were planning to go to Primark and shop there. We went down from the bus and had to walk to Primark. The fun thing is, if I was in Malaysia , walking is not an option because it's too hot outside. But in London, i'd walk all day that is, if it's cold. Primark was really awesome. Didn't get to shop at other stores because most of them are selling all winter clothes. What am I going to do with winter clothes back in KK which even wearing a singlet can still make you sweat a lot.
Shopped a lot. That's all I can say about that. Went back to our place just as how we went there. Daytime doesn't really last for long in London because winter was near so around 4 was the time we went back to our place. Ate maggi because we are MaggiLovers or maybe because we were to lazy to scavenge for some. Woke up really early the next morning to catch the Hop On Hop Off Sightseeing Bus.

The sun wasn't even out yet and there we were waiting for the bus. WHY OH WHY.

Finally the bus came around and it was cool. Went up to the top deck to see London wayyyy better. Our first stop was at Trafalga Square. No descriptions needed about it because the pictures will say so. But maybe just a little bit of a caption.

    Best. Jump. Ever

Soon after that, we were planning to go to the museum as seen in the picture which was right behind us but it wasn't opened yet because we were really early. The next stop would be the Ripley's Believe it Or Not Museum. Walked there because it wasn't that far and we saw it along the way when we were heading towards Trafalga Square. Did get lost for a while due to either me or Adam's poor directions.
The museum was located near to Eros which was happened to be a statue which was incased in a large snow globe because winter was near. Some people do say that when you stand around there long enough, you'd meet someone you know. I guess I didn't stand there long enough because the only people I knew were my mom and my brother standing beside me and that surely didn't count.

    The statue of Eros

The Ripley's Believe It Or Not Museum was really interesting. I actually liked it because it had a lot of weird interesting things. There was a portrait of Slash in dung and a portrait of Kate Middleton made out of kisses. They also had the original piece of the candymaking machine in the movie "ChittyChittyBangBang". I got to play the machine which happened to be me pressing the red button which made the whole machine move. It's also claimed that the Titanic could've sunk due to the temperature of the water which was 2 degrees celcius and they actually let us put our hands into the water and dayum it was soooo cold duuuude no wonder Jack died. Curse you water!

The next day, we went up the sightseeing bus again but this time we were planning to go to Madame Tussards. When we reached there, it was still closed so we went up the bus and just stayed there as it was going around. We passed the London Bridge which was total crap because it's just an ordinary bridge . The tower bridge was pretty. London Bridge? Ordinary although it is one of the most famous bridge in the world. Dude, there was a song about it. Anyways, we passed by the London Eye and got to saw the Big Ben ring. Big Ben is just the name of the bell. The tower's name is Westminster Tower as what the live commentary guy on our bus told us. We saw the Cleopatra's needle and all the churches and most famous sights in London. We also got to know the history of the place because the Live Commentary guy tells us everything, well it's his job. He was actually really hilarious and fun.
When we were done sightseeing, it was already getting dark and we were lazy to actually go to Madame Tussards right on that day so we decided to go the next day. We went down on MarbleArch and saw the birds in the middle of the arch and it was really really nice. We walked to Oxford street and shopped again. Then later on, went back.
There are actually a lot of Malaysians staying in London. Like seriously.
